Women Who Lead and MONI Wealth

Nearly 20 years ago, after securing significant victories for my employer—convincing Puerto Rico's governor, congressional leaders, and over 100 CEOs to oppose a the anti trust bill—I faced an unexpected challenge.

Despite my key contributions to expanding the company and generating billions in sales, my boss declared that I couldn't lead the newly created Government Relations department because it was "manly" and suggested I stay in Public Relations, deemed "more girlie.”

That moment was pivotal. I chose to change not just my life but also impact hundreds of thousands of women globally.

Thanks to that exclusion and archaic mindset, I founded Women Who Lead 17 years ago, focusing on helping women increase their earnings and achieve their dreams by understanding their financial needs and habits. Despite skeptics who doubted my longevity, I persisted.

My passion for empowering women led me to create Moni Wealth, a fintech designed to assist Latinas in purchasing, saving, and protecting their money. In a male-dominated fintech world, Moni Wealth signifies a crucial shift.

My work as co-creator of the Equal Pay Act and the historic first Pay Gap Report in Puerto Rico has earned accolades from the EEOC, ALPFA, and the Women's Executive Council of Florida, and recently, the Teal Power Top Award from Voces de PR.

Today, with the support of many who believe in our mission, we launch the MONI Wealth APP—designed by Latinas for Latinas.

Leverage the tools we've crafted for you, companies and connect with me on social media.
